Great Lakes Photo Restoration
Our photo restoration and retouching service in the Forster is provided through our local partner, Memory Lane Picture Framing.
They’ll discuss your restoration project with you, digitise your images and send them to us for restoration.
Once we have your approval, John and Tish can help you with the final printing and framing of your newly restored photographs in their Forster store.
Note we’re not a bulk scanning and retouching service – we concentrate on the best few images for printing and display. We prefer to work with a maximum of five images per order.
What kind of photo restoration can we do?
Colourise black and white photos
Re-colourise very faded colour photos
Digital document restoration
Recreate missing areas
Remove or add people/objects
Remove mould and mildew
Recover depth and detail in very faded photos
I hold a once in a lifetime aged photo that belongs to my best mate and unfortunately the photo had been sun damaged, faded and blotchy. I was somewhat convinced that the photo was not restorable, however it was my aim to find a means of recovery. End result, the photo was restored to its original state beyond my wildest imagination. I would sincerely recommend Vivid Recollection to any person requiring help within the areas of the company’s many expertise in imaging services.
I gave Vivid two 1800s photos of my grandparents which were in a very poor condition. I could not believe how they have come up, with a clear picture of how Annie and David actually looked. Highly recommended!
A photo of my father as a young lad and a couple of old photos from late 1800’s/early 1900’s had seen better days. One was in a very poor condition and I was amazed at the transformation. Vivid did an excellent job on bringing all of them back to life. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and I have no hesitation in recommending them for any photo restoration.
Thank you, you’ve brought tears to my eyes, so many happy precious memories I can share with the rest of the family. I received the hard copy prints yesterday. Just perfect, thank you so much.
James from Vivid did a wonderful job retouching my Grandmother’s photos and was extremely helpful, guiding me through the process from start to finish. I would highly recommend James to anyone wanting to digitise and restore their old photos.
