Where to get your image scanned
To go ahead with digital restoration we’ll need to have a scan of your image. There are a few ways to do this:
- Go to the print and copy section at any Officeworks, Big W or Harvey Norman store to scan the image. Ask them to scan at 600dpi in JPEG or TIFF format and save the file to a USB drive. Come back to this website and upload your image.
- Use your own scanner, or a friend’s.
- Take your image to one of our affiliate shops – listed below. They will scan and send the digital file to us for restoration.
Vivid Recollection and our partner businesses do not offer bulk scanning services – we specialise in restoring and framing a select few images.
Our head office is at Unit 3, Building 2, 1 Dairy Road Fyshwick in Canberra. We operate by appointment so please give us a call on 02 6153 3308 to arrange a time.
