Where to get your image scanned
To go ahead with digital restoration we’ll need to have a scan of your image. There are a few ways to do this:
- Go to the print and copy section at any Officeworks to scan the image. Ask them to scan at 600dpi in JPEG or TIFF format and save the file to a USB drive. Come back to this website and upload your image.
- Use your own scanner, or a friend’s.
- Take your image to one of our affiliate shops – listed below. They will scan and send the digital file to us for restoration.
Vivid Recollection and our partner businesses do not offer bulk scanning services – we specialise in restoring and framing a select few images.
We offer our services through a number of picture framing and printing stores around Australia. They’re equipped with high quality scanners and can scan your original photo or document, and send to us for restoration.
